TCI Engineering’s 1973-1987 Chevy C10 Truck 4-Link Rear Suspension provides a significant ride height drop, smooth ride, better handling, reduced weight and greater axle control. This new kit offers the maximum drop available without bed modifications, excellent performance, all while maintaining the utility of a truck. Using a unique design axle bracket that captures the axle tube 360 degrees we were able to make the bracket bolt on, yet be extremely rigid. Fully boxed c-notches capture both the outside and inside of the frame using 3/16” plate. The c-notches were designed with the factory 12 bolt rearend in place. At full compression there is roughly ¼” clearance between the top of the axle housing and the bed. This maximizes the amount of drop and wheel travel. The 4-Link frame brackets are constructed from boxed 3/16” plate as well. The frame brackets attach to the same locating holes that the factory leaf spring brackets used making installation very simple. 1.25” O/D link bars come standard and are designed to handle the abuses of a drag strip yet articulate well for street or autocross use.
Adjustable 4-Link bars allow fine tuning of wheelbase/pinion angle, eliminate wheel hop and provide greater axle control. Ridetech 26 way adjustable coil-overs come standard. Adjustable coilover mounts offer 3 positions of height adjustability. While fine tuning of height can be done with the shock body. At the lowest static setting the fender to ground clearance is 24.50” with 29” tall tires. Energy Suspension provides the polyurethane bushings with lubrication valleys and come with their patented poly lube. Only American made steel is used to manufacture TCI Engineering components.
The installation mostly requires drilling and bolting in components. We reuse as many factory bolt holes as possible to make installation as straight forward as possible. The 1973-1987 Chevy C10 Truck 4-Link Rear Suspension is a 100% bolt on application. The kit will work with your factory rear axle. Complete 9” axle housings are available fully welded and ready to be bolted in.
Additionally, all TCI Engineering products come with our Dual Warranty. 6 Year, 60,000 Mile Warranty on wear and tear items. Any items built in house by TCI Engineering come with a Lifetime Warranty.

Parts builders usually buy alongside this one — gaskets, seals and hardware for the install. These are suggestions, not a verified fit: call (714) 202-7886 to confirm before ordering.
