TCI Engineering’s 1955–1959 Chevy Truck 4‑Link Rear Suspension delivers a major ride‑height drop without sacrificing comfort. You get a smoother ride, sharper handling, and stronger axle control right away. The adjustable 4‑link bars let you fine‑tune wheelbase and pinion angle, giving you far more control than leaf springs.
We build the frame and axle brackets from U.S.‑made steel that we cut, bend, and TIG‑weld in‑house. The frame brackets mount easily on the outside of the rails, while the link bars sit tight against them for maximum tire clearance. This layout also keeps roll stiffness high. The 1″ track‑locating bar installs quickly thanks to clevis mounts and right‑ and left‑hand heims. A heavy‑duty coil‑over crossmember made from 1.75″ x.188 DOM tubing ties the frame rails together and increases overall strength. Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings with lubrication valleys and poly lube add durability and smooth articulation.
Ridetech coil‑over shocks come standard and include a 1,000,001‑mile warranty. They offer precise height adjustment and 26‑way ride‑comfort control. Offset axle brackets provide an additional ride‑height option for even more tuning flexibility.
Installation stays simple. Most steps involve basic drilling and bolting. The only welding required is attaching the axle brackets to the housing. For an easier setup, you can choose a complete 9″ axle housing that arrives fully welded and ready to bolt in.
Every TCI Engineering product includes our Dual Warranty: a 6‑year, 60,000‑mile warranty on wear items such as bushings, coil‑overs, and ball joints, plus a Lifetime Warranty on all in‑house fabricated components including link bars, control arms, spindles, and crossmembers.

Platform-level fitment (Ford + GM, Phase 1). We publish the engine platform a part is built for — not year-and-trim application data — so nothing here confirms a fit on a specific vehicle. Confirm fitment with us before ordering: (714) 202-7886.
Commonly Needed With This
Parts builders usually buy alongside this one — gaskets, seals and hardware for the install. These are suggestions, not a verified fit: call (714) 202-7886 to confirm before ordering.
