Total Cost Involved Engineering’s 1955-1959 Chevy Truck Parabolic Leaf Spring Rear Suspension kit uses an American‑made, modern parabolic spring design that improves ride quality and reduces weight. These springs use fewer leaves that taper in thickness from the center to the ends, forming a true parabolic curve. The leaves only touch at the center—where the axle mounts—and at the ends, which eliminates unwanted inter‑leaf friction. With less friction, the suspension moves more freely and delivers a smoother ride than traditional multi‑leaf packs. The simplified design also cuts weight by 28% compared with the previous 5‑leaf kit.

This ’55–’59 Chevy Pickup Parabolic Leaf Spring kit includes every component needed to install a complete rear suspension. All chassis‑mounted parts bolt directly into place, and we reuse factory holes whenever possible to keep drilling to a minimum. The only welding required is on the axle housing, unless you purchase a complete Currie 9-inch assembly from us.
