Notes on this platform
- The factory crankshaft stays. Ford's 7.3L crank is forged steel and is a genuinely good part; it is retained on these builds rather than replaced as a default upsell. A Callies billet crank is available when the target calls for it and is quoted separately.
- Factory cylinder heads on the base long block. CNC-ported heads (M-6049-SD73P / M-6050-SD73P) are the common upgrade and are quoted on top.
- Block prep to the design spec for your combination. Machine work is carried out by our partner machine shop here in California; assembly is on our own bench in Huntington Beach.
