TCI Engineering’s 1961-1966 Ford F100 Truck 4-Link Rear Suspension offers a significant ride height drop without sacrificing comfort. Smooth ride, better handling, and greater axle control are just the beginning. Adjustable 4-Link bars allow fine-tuning of wheelbase/pinion angle, and provide greater axle control than leaf springs. The frame and axle brackets are derived from US Made steel that is cut, bent, and TIG welded in house. The frame brackets are easily located to the outside of the frame rails. We kept the link bars as close to the frame rails as possible which allows maximum tire clearance. While simultaneously keeping the brackets outside the frame rails to keep roll stiffness as high as possible. The 1″ track locating bar installs and adjusts easily thanks to the clevis mounts and R/H & L/H heims. The Coil-over crossmember is made from 1.75″ x.188w US derived DOM steel which strengthens the frame rails by tying them together. Energy Suspension provides the polyurethane bushings with lubrication valleys and come with their patented poly lube.
1,000,001 Mile Warranty Ridetech Coil-over shocks come standard and provide fine tuning of height adjustments and 26 way ride comfort control. The offset axle brackets offer an additional ride height adjustment.
The installation of the ’61-’66 Ford F100 Truck 4-Link Rear Suspension mostly requires drilling and bolting in components. The only exception is for welding the axle brackets onto axle housing.
Complete 9″ axle housings are available fully welded and ready to be bolted in.
