Centrifugal boost — power builds with RPM. ProCharger P-1SC-1 head unit; a large (roughly 50%+) gain over stock at base boost on pump gas, with the final number set by pulley/boost, fuel, and calibration.
Supporting mods & honest requirements
- Self-contained head unit — no external oil line to tap into the engine.
- Air-to-air intercooled; runs 91/93 octane at base boost.
- A custom tune is required — arranged through our tuning partner.
- Manual cars need an upgraded clutch; automatics benefit from a converter/trans build to hold the power.
- Raising boost past the base pulley requires a fuel-system upgrade (pump + injectors) and a re-tune.
- Factory LT1 bottom end is strong at base boost; build the short block before chasing big pulley/boost numbers.
