Supporting mods & honest requirements
- The Coyote is a DOHC 4-cam engine — cam installation is labor-intensive (timing + phasers); in-house install strongly recommended.
- Upgraded valve springs are required to run the cam profile safely at RPM — add them in the dropdown.
- Supporting bolt-ons (intake, long-tube headers) and a custom tune are required to realize the gains.
- Not emissions-legal for sale/use on pollution-controlled vehicles in California.
